Delino Desheilds Jr. is the only African American player on the Texas Rangers 25 man roster. His father played in the Major Leagues from 1990-2002. First time I met and interviewed him was in 2013 during all-star week at Citi Field when he played in the Futures Game. He joins me now to talk about whAt it's been like for him since entering the Major Leagues in 2015 and what it's like being the only African American player on the Texas Rangers. Also in this report is Texas Rangers 3rd base coach Tony Beasley who tells us about his baseball life where he spent years in the minor Leagues failing to ever make it to the Major Leagues as a player. He has now been a coach for over a decade on the Major League level after giving up his dream of becoming a Major League ball player.
