The Women’s National Basketball Association is in it’s 20th season and Sunday afternoon they finished their regular season. This week will be the start of their playoffs. New York’s basketball team the Liberty who play at Madison Square Garden finished with the 3rd best record in the league and will enter the postseason as the #3 seed in the 8 team tournament. In 20 seasons the Liberty have yet to win a championship. Their chase for the championship will begin at home in 5 days this upcoming Saturday. But their efforts in the struggle for social justice have been just as impressive. Samori Benjamin has more.
