An Era Has Changed And So Has Philosophy

Samori Benjamin

The Yankees have chose to do something they have not done in over a generation, trade their best players to contending teams for young unproven players who they hope will develop into special ball players a few years from now who collectively can bring them back to playoff and championship glory. We speak with a man who has been with the team 8 seasons now beginning in his first season when the Yankees won the World Series. He speaks with us the current pschye of the ball club after they have traded away 3 All-Star players from the team which has ended any realistic chance for them of making the playoffs. We also speak about the decline of the African-American ball player and the call of action by some of his fellow star athletes of the United States to unite and become a tool in helping to create change.
