Derek Harper was the starting point guard for the New York Knicks during the hey day of the Pat Riley era in the mid 1990’s and today he is a broadcaster on the Mavericks’ locally televised broadcasts. Harper was back at Madison Square Garden on Sunday February 19th as Dallas met the Knicks in a matinee. Harper sat down with Samori Benamin to discuss Linsanity, Carmelo Anthony, the pressure of playing in New York and the legitimacy of the New York Knicks in the championship discussion.
