Former major leaguer and current Detroit Tigers hitting coach Lloyd McClendon speaks with WBAI Sports about being on the first All black team to reach the little league world series in 1971. McClendon's team was from Gary, Indiana. Detroit Tigers slugger Gary Sheffield also speaks with WBAI Sports about making into the little world series with an all black team from Tampa Bay Florida in 1980. Sheffield also speaks about the influence his uncle Dwight Gooden had on him becoming interested in the sport.
