Excerpt from the project I’m working on on the decline of African-Americans in Major League baseball. This segment features Jackie Robinson’s Dodgers. Remember this project is mostly about the 2007 major league baseball season, which was the 60th year anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking baseball’s color barrier, where the percentage of African-Americans playing in MLB was at just 8%. Notable voices in this segment are Juan Pierre, CNN’s Larry King, Matt Kemp, Reggie Smith, Rickey Henderson, Ron Washington, Milton Bradley.
