Last season Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano had a very disappointing season which almost caused him to be shipped out of the Bronx. But Cano has come back this season to put up all-time numbers at the second base position. Cano sits down with me to talk about how he approached last off-season, growing up playing ball in the Dominican, Yankee locker room chemistry, his Dominican Republic’s terrible showing in last spring’s world baseball classic, and the story of how his parents named him after Jackie Robinson.
